I was married seven years to my hubby and my associate and I had a nice household in Jacksonville, Florida.
We had done serious updates to the place like the living room, master powder room, residing room, and home offices.
We painted the exterior, ran tests on the bushes, and even added an above ground pool. The place was actually nice. When my associate and I decided to get divorced it was hard on what to do with the house. We both kind of felt like my associate and I were getting the short end of the stick if the other one got the house. The right transport was to sell it. However, when selling a household it can take a long time. There is a lot of haggling between the client and seller. Now factor in two sellers that would appreciate not speak to each other. It made the most sense to just look for a Jax real estate client that does money for properties. A Florida house client that does money deals was so much quicker and less messy. You literally have to meet with them once in woman or just email. Then you decide a number, say yes, and that is it. My ex and I only had to coordinate a few hours before our household was sold. We split the money 50/50 and the rest was all little stuff that wasn’t a big deal. Getting a divorce is never self-explanatory emotionally. When you factor in finances and assets, you need to make it as streamlined as possible. You don’t want to drag the process out.
