A little over a year ago, I inherited a property in CO Springs, but although I had never been to the area, I was happy by the option, but i had only met my Uncle once & was surprised that he left me his house! When I visited, I was not cheerful by the condition of the property, the property was extremely rundown. The roof had obviously been leaking for quite some time & caused considerable water disfigurement to the ceilings, walls & floors. There was mold growth, a musty odor & signs of rodent infestation. All of the appliances were outdated & in need of upgradement. There were several broken windows & I knew the electrical panel, plumbing & Heating, Ventilation, & A/C would never meet code requirements, then plus, there was a considerable amount of junk & garbage inside & outside of the house. I could barely walk through some of the rooms. I was not interested in keeping the house. I had no desire to sink time & currency into cleaning & repairs. I also had no idea how to sell the property in its current condition. A friend of mine recommended finding a currency property buyer; Since I live out of state, I was not sure how to handle the process. The currency property shopper I spoke with was super helpful & knowledgeable. We worked everything out via SMS & were able to schedule a virtual tour of the house. They provided an offer on the property in “as-is” condition. I didn’t even need to scrub out the garbage. They also inspected the paperwork so that everything proceeded smoothly & suddenly.
